Adonis Hotel is located in Agia Galini, a seaside village, located at the southeastern tip of Rethymnon. It is located on the border with Heraklion, is built amphitheatrically and has an excellent environment and wonderful climate. It is 55 km from Rethymno and 68 km from Heraklion.
About the origin of the name of the village tradition states that a Byzantine princess, sailing in the area in turbulence, after her pray, the sea calmed down and her ship anchored on shore. The princess ordered the construction of a temple in honor of the Virgin Mary, the so-called Galini.
The inhabitants of Agia Galini are engaged in tourism, agriculture and fishing. For the safety of the bay, a jetty has been constructed that provides safety in the south winds.
The hotel has a total of 62/70 accommodations, different from each other, to meet the needs of all customers. There are rooms, apartments and studios. You can choose whether you want to have a view of the sea or the garden.
It consists of three buildings, surrounded by a garden, in which there is a swimming pool. The pool is 100 sq.m. and has sunbeds and umbrellas around the perimeter.
Only breakfast is served. If you wish to prepare other meals, you can rent one of the apartments or studios, which have a fully equipped kitchen. (* there is a baby feeding chair in the breakfast area)
For the best service of our customers, we can offer some extra services, but only after consultation with the staff of our hotel. For example, we can help you call a taxi or get in touch with car rental companies. We could also suggest outdoor activities, such as water sports, in the area of Agia Galini.
